Cover Templates for Photoshop

In almost all our covers, but also in boxes, accessories where the product requires the insertion of an image, it is possible to receive a blank template in PSD format. To download it, click “Download PSD File” at the point below.

You can open this file in Photoshop. Depending on the case, the file also includes guides that show clippings, back, etc.

In this template you can drag & amp; drop any image that fits, and then using Photoshop tools (like Edit / Transform) bring it to the right place.

If you want, you can enable the “Hide this layer before saving” layer. This is for preview only! Do not save it this way. A red box appears with the part of the image that is required for printing, but should not contain any significant part of the main subject. For example, in the image below, it would be wrong for the man’s head to be even higher.

Part of the theme outside the guidelines (and red due to the layer preview), on a Photo Wrap cover would appear on the side and back of the cover (in the red border below). It is obvious that in these points the subject of the photo should “continue” so that there is coherence, but at the same time it should not be the main subject.

For example, if the man’s head in the previous photo was raised even higher and was outside the guideline, then it would be printed on the sides or on the fold of the cover of the Photo Wrap cover! But it is good for the background to “continue” because this could properly match the turning of the cover.

Rescue and send

When the file is ready, disable the “Hide this layer before saving” layer . You can then save the image as jpeg with quality 100 and place it in the corresponding place in our web application.

Tip for Photo Wrap

If you are preparing a Photo Wrap cover (like the sample above) then click on download PSD:

• after selecting size (1)
• after selecting the binding type (2) and
• after sending salons or selecting salons in the price calculation (or one or the other).

The reason is that on these covers, the width of the back and therefore the total required width depends on the number of lounges and the type of bookbinding (with cardboard or slim). So by selecting these at least 3 items, the template you download will be perfectly customized.
